Farewell 2008
This past year has had a lot of challenges, but it had high points as well - Grant Park on Nov 4th, riding a bike in Copenhagen, my first nephew, my first published book chapter. I have high hopes for 2009, a very interesting group project about Wikipedia, two projects about online news, finishing my coursework and, with any luck, becoming a Ph.D. Candidate. I noticed my new year post last year mentioned that I would post about my electronic organization system, which I did revise several times this year and I think I’m almost satisfied with it. This year I will actually post about how I organize my PDFs, citations and reading/lecture notes.
Also, for those of you reading via RSS, I just updated my my blogroll with some of the interesting blogs I’ve been reading this year.
YouTube Presidential Address & Funny Pets
President-elect Obama’s weekly radio address as YouTube video wasn’t the most exciting video out there, and it has comments turned off (probably appropriate, unfortunately), but it was interesting to see what YouTube had as related videos at the end.

I wonder if some people who watch the “Crazy cat attacking spuds dog” get the presidential radio address as a related video?
